The sari I wore to graduation belonged to my dadi - or, as I called her, Shaku :)

Forty years ago, she sold one of her saris to pay for her daughter’s application to BITS Pilani. I had the privilege of growing up as her roommate, where she instilled in me the courage to be delusional. Because of her, I became the first student in my all-girls school’s 95-year history to attend Stanford University, where I graduated with a double major in Computer Science and Mathematics and a master’s in Computer Science (AI concentration).

Today, I'm building Vigyanit Labs, an in-school AI platform for students, teachers, and parents. I coined the word Vigyanit, a Hindi acronym for STEM, when I was 13.

I cooked a well-seasoned salmon for a bear in Tahoe. The bear loved it (I think)
I have professionally trained in Kathak dance for 15+ years
I majored in math because my mom once cried that I couldn’t draw a number line at 11 years old
The 4th time I ever ran, it was a 10k (had shin splints for five days afterward)
I manifested meeting Roger Federer by jokingly DM’ing him on instagram (I've met him thrice now)
